ATTENTION

November 1, 2020

The offices of Dagenhart and Associates will be open; however, all appointments will continue to be conducted through our Telehealth services.  No face-to-face, or in office appointments are currently being performed.  If there is a reason you need to come to the office, please call first for a window of time that office staff will be available to meet you.

Administrative and Support Staff will be available from 8:00am - 6:30pm Monday thru Thrusday and 8:00am - 5:00pm on Fridays via telephone at 240-575-9688.  If you are unable to reach a staff member during those hours, please leave your name, phone number, and the best time to reach you, and someone will return your call within 1 business day.  As always, if this is an emergency, please call 911, 211 or go to the nearest emergency department.

If you have not already received information regarding our Telehealth services please contact the office to receive additional information regarding the process and set up procedures.

With the upcoming flu season we feel it is best to continue to offer Telehealth services to our clients to lessen the potential for the spread of the COVID-19 virus.  The CDC is asking the public to prepare for the spread of the COVID-19 virus in the United States. At Dagenhart and Associates, we strive to deliver the best care to our patients while protecting the health and safety of the community, our patients, and our staff.

We want to thank all of our patients and staff for working together during this difficult time to help this process to be as smooth as possible.  We thank you for your patience and understanding.

We will continue to use every effort to deliver uninterrupted services and care to all our patients. As always, we are here to answer any questions you may have.

We can be reached at 240-575-9688.

WELCOME
Thank you for visiting our website.  As you explore our website if you have any additional questions please contact our office.

Exploring the idea of therapy and/or medication management can be difficult, confusing, and uncomfortable.  It can also be your first step toward health, balance, and emotional freedom.  The offices of Dagenhart and Associates have been dedicated to providing quality counseling services and medication management to adolescents, adults, couples, and families since 1998.  The practice has been serving in the Frederick County area since 2010.

Our providers are experienced in a broad range of mental health issues and use a variety of therapeutic approaches to compliment the unique needs of each individual.  We believe that health comes from treating the whole person.  Therefore, we seek to integrate emotional, physical, and spiritual dimensions into the healing process.  Although our clinicians have been trained in various methods of treatment approaches and techniques, we tailor treatment (both brief and long-term) to help meet your specific needs and not to a specific theoretical approach.  Your provider will help guide you through the exploration of values, beliefs, thoughts, and feelings to promote increased awareness of self and a greater sense of well-being.

We believe every individual has the capacity for growth, and counseling helps you find clarity and purpose as you design a personal path to self awareness and well being.  When people actively engage in the therapeutic process they increase the possibility to discover new areas of awareness, to see life from different perspectives, develop new skills, and build upon skills already present.   Resources, such as counseling, are designed to layer your knowledge and offer new perspectives.  Counseling helps identify, develop and apply the skills you need to move your life forward.

As a professional psychiatric and counseling practice serving the Frederick County, Maryland area, we want to give you the opportunity to stay in touch with our office and keep you up-to-date on the services we can provide.  Visit the About Us tab to learn more about our office and to learn more about each of our clinicians and their specific specialties.  Please return to this website as updates on community outreaches and services are added periodically.

If you would like additional information please contact our office by completing the information fields in the Contact/Email section.  An email will be sent to our front office staff and they will contact you.  If you do not receive a response within 1 business day please call the office to follow up.

We look forward to hearing from you.
